    I just had a visit from two ladies who showed me a flyer featuring Jesus, saying: 'We are visiting many homes for the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus.' Jehovah's Witnesses—one of the little 'gifts' you gave to Italy after defeating us in World War II (I absolutely had to write about it here to vent, hoping to make you feel guilty; I hope it’s a venial sin, though I wouldn't bet on it). Yet, on one hand, I feel a bit sorry for them, and on the other, I envy them: they are a close-knit community, while the rest of the Italian population has been pulverized and atomized by Americanism and your individualism.
