So the Third Secret ACTUALLY speaks about an evil Council, and evil Mass, and Apostasy coming from THE VERY TOP OF THE CHURCH.     Idolatry of the world, religious freedom, cult of man... Only a blind man (or someone in bad faith) could deny that the reform of the Church, which occurred less than 20 years after World War II—with Western Europe destroyed and now in the orbit of the new American hegemonic power—was desired by the Americanists of the New World. It was truly essential for the United States that the last and greatest obstacle to the complete Americanization of the Latin peoples of Europe (i.e., the Catholic Church) be aligned with liberal Americanist ideals and that its head (the Pope) become almost a spokesperson for Washington's demands.
