Bishop Robert McKenna's Lectures (2005), in which he warns us that Occult practices and Contemporary Popular Culture Can Lead to Demonic Infiltration and Possession. This is the Greatest Fear we have for those involved in such things.

    One thing not mentioned by Fr McKenna that also opens portals of the soul to demonic influence/infestation is cursing, even saying "Damn it!" or just "Damn!" -- and even more so, preceding that with the holy name of God, or using the holy name of Jesus Christ in vain, which is so common, and is heard so very often on TV and in movies. A good response when one hears such blasphemy is to say, "Blessed be God. Blessed be His Holy Name."
